The Association of International
Champions (AIC) is an affiliate of the Barbershop
Harmony Society
(aka. The Society For The Preservation
and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in
America - SPEBSQSA).
Our exclusive membership is only open to quartets who have won the
BHS International Quartet
Contest
held annually and starting in 1939.
Our Vision Statement
To be the finest ambassadors, educators and promoters of barbershop quartet singing
in the world through performances, recordings, productions, seminars and financial
support.
The AIC Mission Statement
- To provide quartet development, education, promotion and financial
support within the Barbershop Harmony Society and it’s affiliates.
- To preserve international champion quartet performances and recordings.
- To produce the finest barbershop quartet shows in the world.
- To provide for and foster the fellowship of individuals who have the
unique experience of having been active members in international champion
quartets of the Barbershop Harmony Society
