Wall of Champions
Installed at BHS HQ
The wall of our AIC Champions has been installed in the
lobby of the new headquarters of The Barbershop Harmony
Society in Nashville.
It's a very
impressive sight and will now be seen by the thousands
of visitors (Society members and the public) for years
to come.
As you may see
from the photos - one can walk up the spiral "barber
poleish" staircase and view the photos up close.
Also each photo is mounted on each corner by an actual
pitch pipe (the universal symbol of a cappella singers)
No doubt the
lobby will be an active place during the BHS
International Convention this coming July in Nashville.
The 10 ft X 30
ft mural showing the joy of singing barbershop and other
groups worthy of special recognition also welcomes
visitors and is mounted adjacent to the " WOC"
Every champ
should make the pilgrimage to our HQ and be inspired by
this display of our musical icons.
