Kevin Hughes is the lead of Forefront and brings a strong musical background with him. He has experience performing in quartets, including top finishes in the Cardinal District with Green Street Harmony and The Connection. Kevin has also directed the Illini Statesmen Chorus and Banks of the Wabash Chorus. At the age of 11, he had the privilege of being a part of The Indianapolis Children’s choir. Kevin started singing in rock bands and marching bands at the age of 16, and as an adult, he continued to shape his music career. He received the Best Actor award for his moving portrayal of Tony in West Side Story and has played Cornelius Hackle in the musical Hello Dolly. Kevin is an entrepreneur and has over 20 years of experience in Field Engineering and IT work. He is also a nature enthusiast and grows various varieties of plants.
