Doug Harrington joined SPEBSQSA in 1979 and won the International Quartet gold medal in 1989 with The Second Edition.

Other merits within Barbershop include:

• Two-time International Quartet medalist with The Harrington Brothers

• Two-time International Chorus gold medalist with the Louisville Thoroughbreds

• Two-time International medalist directing Zero8 (SNOBS), the Stockholm-based chorus he founded in 2007

• BHS Master Director

In 2020 Doug moved back home to Kentucky after 23 years in Europe. He is now a lifetime member of WBQA, devoted husband to Heather, proud dad to Jack and Tom, an Operations Supervisor for a transport services company and a follower of Jesus Christ.
